Keith Mann is in our Employee Spotlight for this month:
If you've called into our service desk with issues then you may have spoken to Keith, around the office he is known by his ability to project his voice above any and all noise going on around him. His clarity of communication and cheery attitude makes him one of our most valuable employees. Especially to the multitude of customers he's able to guide through the speed bumps of technology.
Here's a few interesting facts about Keith:
Keith was born in 1986 in Chadron Nebraska, near the Black Hills of South Dakota and Mount Rushmore.
He went to college at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, (go Cornhuskers) and graduated with a BA in Secondary Education. He taught Math and coached football and track for five years. He credits this with where he learned to project his voice so well. Eventually he was married and moved to Omaha. When his wife's job relocated to Texas he ran a Family Video in Allen. After a year and a half there he decided to go back to school and obtain his certifications for IT. He had a brief stint at Fujitsu as a tier 1 service desk tech, after attending a job fair found Sagiss and has been here since 2017.
Keith has 2 children:
A 6 year girl and the newest member of the family a 4 month old boy. As a result Keith is very sleep deprived, but still manages to come to work with a smile!
He enjoys the variety of tasks on the job the most, he expanded on that by saying:
“Because we service small and medium sized businesses, every day is a little bit different. Today has been backups and assisting one of our clients with using remote applications. Tomorrow I’m going to be doing something a totally different.”
This months honorable mention:
This last Friday, we heard from JTG singing the praises of Justin Mutinta one of our techs. Apparently a new user for JTG was having a few minor issues and Justin went above and beyond helping him.
He said this:
"I worked with Justin to do all my set-up and he was GREAT! Helpful, friendly and proficient – I have been in this business for 25 years with several companies – he ranks at the top in the IT world for all those things and patience as I am not a computer wizard."
Good Job Justin!
